Make your next event truly EPIC

Whether you’re entertaining clients, planning a team event or launching a product, EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum is the ideal venue. Centrally located in the beautifully restored vaults of the historic CHQ building in Dublin’s Docklands, EPIC provides an impressive and memorable backdrop for your event. As the world’s only fully digital museum spread over 20 galleries, EPIC is an interactive experience featuring stories of over 300 Irish emigrants who shaped the world.

Tailored and Interactive Tours

All of our events include a guided tour. The tour touches on a range of subjects from music to sport to contemporary design. Our knowledgeable and friendly tour guides will tailor the tour to focus on your guests’ interests, leaving them with a one-off experience of Irish culture and history.

Event Catering

Our event catering partners include Bakehouse, ely bar & brasserie and Urban Brewing. Select from a range of canapés ranging from rustic Irish cuisine to more refined bites. Our caterers are open to special requests and are willing to work with you on customised menus for your event. We can also arrange a sit-down lunch or dinner at our caterers restaurants post tour of EPIC, which are located within the CHQ building.

Entertainment

We have a rich repertoire to draw from including storytelling, traditional Irish music and dancing. Make your event even more special with a live trad group in our ‘Irish Pub’ gallery, dancers in our Celebration vault or a harpist at the entrance of your event.

Packages

We offer a range of classic cocktail receptions to bespoke event packages and are happy to send these through upon request.

Event options

EXCLUSIVE USE OUTSIDE OPENING HOURS

Morning Events (7.00am-10.00am)

Exclusive use of the entire museum, including the exhibition, with space in the galleries for breakfast. Events can include coffee, tea and pastries in our 200-year-old event vaults, a tour through the museum, followed by a visit to the Irish Family History Centre.

Reception & Evening Events

(available from 6.30pm)

Enjoy a cocktail reception whilst interacting with the digital displays in the atmospheric EPIC Event Vaults, following your guided tour. No matter which size your group, all events held within the museum have exclusive use. — Minimum 40 guests — Maximum 180 guests 300 guests can be catered for utilising additional space in the CHQ Galleria, conditions apply. Please contact us directly for a quick conversation and an event proposal.

EVENTS DURING OPENING HOURS

We welcome groups during opening hours, where group admission prices apply. We can offer a number of private spaces to hire, holding up to 50 attendees.

Irish Family History Centre

The Irish Family History Centre can attend events to help uncover your guests’ Irish roots. Genealogy experts can assist in engaging with your guests to trace their own unique family story.
