David and Skylar’s Irish Heritage Adventure

We were thrilled to have David and Skylar join us on their adventure to explore their family connections to Ireland. Their visit was filled with laughter, excitement, and plenty of “wow” moments as they discovered their Irish heritage. From tracing their roots in Daingean, County Offaly, to diving into the history of their ancestors from Coleraine in Northern Ireland. Every moment was truly an eye-opener. Our museum is all about bringing Irish history to life in a fun and engaging way, With the help of our friends at the Irish Family History Centre, we were able to dig deep into David and Skylar’s family history. We’re delighted to have been a part of their journey and to have helped them create some great memories along the way.

Tour of EPIC Museum 

Stepping into EPIC, they were transported into the vast influence of Irish history and the impactful journeys of the 10 million Irish men and women who ventured beyond Ireland’s shores. With each gallery, they gained a deeper appreciation for the enduring legacy of the Irish diaspora. Feeling inspired by the resilience and innovation of their ancestors.

Consultation with Irish Family History Centre

Their adventure continued as they joined genealogy experts from the Irish Family History Centre for a personalised consultation. Igniting their journey to trace their family heritage, with expert guidance, they delved into historical records and digital archives, eagerly piecing together the puzzle of their past with each new revelation.

They left EPIC buzzing with excitement, ready to hit the road and explore the places they uncovered during their consultation. Fuelled by a strong sense of connection to their roots, they eagerly set off on a journey across Ireland. Each stop along the way held the promise of uncovering more about their family’s history. They couldn’t wait to dive into the adventures awaiting them.
