Keep Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction right here at home.
Great news! At EPIC we were delighted to be voted Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction 2019, all thanks to the public who voted for us. We’ve just been nominated for the same award again this year and, with your help, we could make it two in a row.
We’re the only Irish attraction or museum to be nominated this year. Previous Irish winners include Spike Island, Cork, The Guinness Storehouse, Dublin and Titanic, Belfast. We’re facing some stiff competition again from Buckingham Palace, The Eiffel Tower and The Colosseum but we beat them once so we can do it again.
Irish emigrants have made a massive impact on the world stage and now the museum that celebrates them is doing the same. Winning this award last year was a great honour for EPIC and something that all Irish people can be proud of, wherever they live. Tourism is now more important than ever so let’s keep Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction right here in Ireland.
To help EPIC win Europe’s Leading Tourist Attraction again this year, people are asked to vote on the World Travel Awards website. Voting closes at midnight on the 17th of August
We are the only Irish visitor attraction or museum to be included in this year’s awards. As one of 11 finalists, we have been shortlisted alongside prestigious landmarks and attractions, including:
- Acropolis, Athens, Greece
- Batumi Boulevard, Georgia
- Buckingham Palace, England
- Castle In Love with the Wind, Bulgaria
- Cycling through the Trees, Belgium
- Dark Sky Alqueva, Portugal & Spain
- Passadiços do Paiva (Arouca UNESCO Global Geopark), Portugal
- Sagrada Familia, Spain
- The Eiffel Tower, France
- The Roman Colosseum, Italy
Your vote means the world to us!
