Character-led interactive storytelling session, delivered via Zoom
Duration: One-off workshop, 1 hour length.
Age: 6 and under.
Price: €5 per ticket/ household.
Welcome back Tiny Tots to our next interactive storytelling adventure! This month, investigative journalist Nellie Bly is packing to go on a whistle-stop around the world adventure, but needs your help to complete it in record-breaking time! Help her navigate the globe, and go on a different sensory adventure in each country you visit, from evading pirates out at sea to meeting monkeys in Singapore, and beyond!
Join some of EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum’s famous characters in these monthly fun, interactive storytelling sessions. Suitable for ages 6 and under, each month we’ll take part in an original adventure tale composed by EPIC, including singing, drawing, mathematics and sensory exploration. All you need is your imagination to take part!
Delivered via Zoom, participants will need crayons and paper to take part as we bring the story to life at home with the help of our little ones! Afterwards, we’ll have some time for questions and chats.
Important: All children must be under a parent/ guardian’s supervision for the duration of the workshop. This session will be delivered remotely via Zoom. Please do not journey to EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum for this session.
Facilitator: Shannon Wilson is EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum’s Education and Outreach Manager. With a background in mixed media and a masters in visual, material and museum anthropology from Oxford University, Shannon is experienced in devising and delivering a fun range of educational workshops for all age groups that celebrate both tangible and intangible heritage, including everything from coding and space camps, to crafting and storytelling workshops.
