Experience the world of coding without a computer in this one-hour fun, practical hands-on STEAM workshop for Primary students.
Building on EPIC’s Computer Science History-at-home pack and suitable for complete beginners, this workshop will utilise cross-curricular learning to bring coding to life beyond the computer. Delivered remotely via Zoom, students will take part in basic art, maths and storytelling exercises in order to enable them to grasp the fundamentals of what coding is. With the aim of equipping them with the basic skills needed to be a computer scientist, this workshop will inspire students to explore this fascinating subject matter further.
Important: This workshop is designed for Primary School level, and is offered at a reduced rate of 25 euro per booking as part of Maths Week and EU Coding Week. It is suitable for both school and home school students. Special rates available for Home School students, contact us for details. Students will require access to Zoom, and paper, pens/ pencils to take part.
