5:30pm. Monday 13th January
Gordon Huie is a 9/11 survivor and aid worker. He was working in the South Tower of the World Trade Center when the hijacked American Airlines Flight 11 hit the North Tower at 8.46 am that fateful Tuesday morning. Minutes later a second plane would hit the South Tower.
An orthopaedic surgeon and former combat medic with the US Army, Gordon not only survived but provided critical medical care to his friends and colleagues on that tragic day. Join us as he recounts his own personal experiences and those of the many emergency responders, many of whom were members of the Irish diaspora, who gave their lives to help others.
Entry fee will be donated to the 9/11 Tribute Museum
