At EPIC’s Celebrations Gallery, we highlight how major cities around the world, from Chicago to Paris to Sydney, turn green on March 17th. This transformation underscores the significance of Irish culture worldwide.
It all began with St. Patrick, one of Ireland’s most renowned emigrants. While many are somewhat familiar with his influence and legacy, our classroom resources aim to engage students up to Junior Cert level, providing a deeper understanding of why we, along with the rest of the world, celebrate our patron saint with such enthusiasm each year.
