To celebrate the Herstory: Ireland’s Epic Women TV Series on RTE, EPIC have a long list of exciting activities planned, all exploring the stories of inspiring Irish emigrant women.
Calling all budding artists and illustrators! Suitable for ages 8 – 16 years old, join EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum for this inspiring and creative workshop where you will create your very own selfie – or self-portrait – using the old fashioned tools of pens, pencils and paint!
Inspired by Blazing a Trail: Lives and Legacies of Irish Diaspora Women exhibition here at EPIC and led by professional illustrator Tarsila Krüse, during this workshop you will discover the stories of the pioneering women on display, analyse how their illustrations were created, and design your very own self portrait to take home.
