Do you love stories? Curious about history and museums? Or wild about technology? This history club may be for you! Beginning October 2019, EPIC Explorers is a new after school monthly club for primary school children taking place here at EPIC.
Involving a mix of hands-on crafting activities, tech tasks and longer term research projects, you will learn all about the history of Ireland and the Irish diaspora through fun and informative workshops, finishing in an exhibition of your work!
Go on adventures through time and space, and be inspired by tales of figures such as rebel pirate Anne Bonny, Antarctic explorer Ernest Shackleton, and youngest ever RAF Wing Commander Spitfire Paddy – all while never stepping foot out of historic Dublin’s Docklands.
No matter what you are interested in, we’ll be looking at everything from music to science, sport, art, and beyond. There is a history behind everything, just waiting to be uncovered!
The fine print (for adults):
