EPIC Book Series | Éire to Everywhere

Join us for a journey across borders and pages.

It’s no secret that at EPIC The Irish Emigration Museum, we’re captivated by stories. Every corner of the museum is infused with the voices of Irish emigrants spanning 1,500 years – their journeys, challenges, triumphs, and legacies. Storytelling is not just something we celebrate; it’s the beating heart of everything we do.

For a country small in size but vast in spirit, Ireland has produced an extraordinary wealth of literary talent – so much so that one gallery dedicated to storytelling simply wasn’t enough; we needed two.

That’s why we started our EPIC Book Series, Éire to Everywhere: Stories Without Borders. To celebrate the voices of the diaspora, both past and present.

For a country small in size but vast in spirit, Ireland has produced an extraordinary wealth of literary talent – so much so that one gallery dedicated to storytelling simply wasn’t enough; we needed two. From the wit of Oscar Wilde to the lyricism of Eavan Boland, from James Joyce’s bold experimentation to Anne Enright’s modern insights, Ireland has long punched above its weight on the literary stage. That’s why we’re thrilled to bring these voices, and many more, into a new chapter with our exciting book series: Éire to Everywhere: Stories Without Borders.

This series invites authors and collaborators to EPIC to discuss their novels – fiction and non-fiction – exploring the many facets of Irish emigration. Whether it’s an author writing from abroad or a story that grapples with the complexities of leaving home, these conversations will shine a light on the global Irish experience.

Stay tuned for more exciting events as they’re announced.
