Broadcaster, biochemist and wild animal biologist Liz Bonnin is the latest addition to EPIC’s ever-evolving selection of Irish emigrants. Bonnin has French, Trinidadian, and Portuguese-Indian heritage but grew up in Dublin.

She is best known as a presenter of wildlife and science programmes including Galapagos, How the Earth Works, Animals in Love, Stargazing Live, Bang Goes The Theory, Museum Of Life, Tomorrow’s World and Big Blue Live. She also hosted music shows RI:SE and Top of the Pops in the early 2000s.

Bonnin will be featured in our Storytelling gallery, which contains an array of renowned Irish broadcasters and entertainers. As a fully digital museum, new Irish emigrants who have made their mark in many facets of life can be added to EPIC’s galleries.
